The Word For Jamaica — Part 2
A New Foundation for a New Jamaica
Scripture: Isaiah 43:18–21
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert…
This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.”
There are moments in God’s dealings with nations when He must pull down the old in order to raise up the new.
Jamaica has come to such a time.
The old foundations were built on corruption, hypocrisy, obeah, slander, injustice, and spiritual pollution.
These foundations could not carry the destiny God has ordained for this land.
So the Lord allowed the shaking — not to destroy Jamaica, but to purify it.
Not to crush the nation, but to cleanse and re-align it.
Now, a new foundation is being laid — a foundation built on:
Love
Unity
Harmony
Righteousness
Truth
This new foundation will rest on the Rock, which is Jesus Christ,
and He Himself will be the Chief Cornerstone of the Jamaica that is now emerging.
The command of this season is simple yet powerful:
“Love your neighbour as yourself.”
For love is the only force strong enough to break the cycles of violence, division, bitterness, and fear.
Love is the weapon.
Love is the foundation.
Love is the identity God is rebuilding Jamaica upon.
And this foundation — unlike the old —
shall stand forever.
📣 ADMONITION
Jamaica, do not resist the new thing God is doing.
Do not cling to the former ways, the old habits, or the corrupt systems that once shaped the land.
Let go of the bitterness, the divisions, the pride, and the dark practices that kept the nation bound.
Do not look back like Lot’s wife.
For whoever looks back cannot enter into what God is birthing.
Open your heart, open your eyes, and open your hands —
for the Lord is building something glorious,
and only those who can see it will walk in it.
Choose unity.
Choose righteousness.
Choose love.
For this is the foundation of the new Jamaica.
🙏 PRAYER FOR JAMAICA
Father, in the name of Jesus,
we lift up Jamaica before You.
Thank You for the shaking, for from it You are birthing a new foundation.
We ask that You purify the land and uproot everything that does not reflect Your Kingdom.
Lord, establish Jamaica on the Rock — Jesus Christ.
Let love, unity, and righteousness flow through every home, every community, every leader, and every heart.
Restore the community spirit.
Break the power of darkness.
Let healing, revival, and transformation sweep through the nation.
Father, give Jamaica new eyes to see what You are doing
and new strength to walk in obedience.
May this new foundation stand forever,
and may Your glory be revealed throughout the island.
We declare: A new Jamaica is rising.
And it shall be to the praise of Your Name.
