PART 3: NAMING OUR CHILDREN — DESTINY IN THE WOMB

SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE

God does not wait until we are born to know us — and neither should we.

✅ Biblical examples:

– Isaac – “Laughter” – named before birth, marking the joy of God’s promise.

– John the Baptist – “God is gracious” – named by the angel, setting his calling as the forerunner of Christ.

– Jesus – “Saviour” – named before birth, defining His mission to save humanity.

✅ The principle for you:

– When you name your child — even while they are still in the womb — you are not just choosing a word; you are speaking their identity, their character, and their destiny into existence.

– You are exercising the authority God gives parents: to define what will rule in their life.

– When you speak the name and the purpose over them, you establish a spiritual covering and direction. You are saying: “This is who you are, and this is what you are created for.”
