ASCENDING TO EXCELLENCE
INTRODUCTION
What is so special about the Black race?
One of the most defining features is our skin—rich in melanin.
Melanin is a natural pigment produced by special cells in the body called melanocytes. It gives color to the skin, hair, and eyes. But beyond color, it reflects intentional design.
WHAT MELANIN DOES
Melanin acts as a natural shield:
. It absorbs light.
. It helps protect against harmful radiation.
. It supports the health of the skin and body.
This shows that God did not just create beauty—He created strength and protection.
THE DEEP MEANING
Melanin reflects a deeper truth:
Just like the night sky is dark yet filled with shining stars, darker skin carries its own radiance.
It is not just color—it is identity, beauty, and divine design.
ADMONITION
Do not take your identity for granted.
Recognize that you are intentionally created.
Walk in confidence, but remain humble.
Let your worth come from God—not from people’s opinions.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and intention.
Help me to embrace my identity with confidence and gratitude.
Let me see myself the way You see me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
