Breaking Out Of Poverty Into A World Of Abundance

From The School Of Excellence

đź“– Habakkuk 2:2
“Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”

In the world we are living in today, many people are forced to live only in the present moment because of their current financial situation. Wages, systems, and circumstances often dictate how far people believe they can go. But God’s Word teaches us something higher: your present finances must never define your future.

Do not allow the system of this world or your wage packet to determine your destiny. Your provision does not come from this world — it comes from God. Although we live in the world, we are not of the world. Once we are born again, we become citizens of the Kingdom of God, and kingdom citizens operate by kingdom principles.

As citizens of God’s Kingdom, we must refuse to let systems, salaries, or limitations control our present or future. We must believe that God has a divine plan for our lives and that He is more than willing to provide for us according to His riches in heaven.

The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 8:9:
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.”

Poverty is not just a condition — it is a spirit. It reveals itself through fear, limitation, lack, and hopelessness. This spirit can be recognized by its patterns and actions in a person’s life. However, it can be defeated. The living Word of God has the power to destroy this spirit when we reprogram our minds with truth instead of fear. This teaching goes deeper and will be addressed another time.

There are also seasons when God shows us that certain things are simply not meant for us. I remember when I was learning to drive; I spent a lot of money and failed my theory test twice. One day, while meditating on the Word, Psalm 138:8 came alive inside my spirit:

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”

What God was saying to me was simple but powerful: Trust Me with everything. Even if I did not have a car, He would ensure I reached my destination. Whatever I truly needed, He would provide. When you meditate on God’s Word until it becomes alive inside you — until it becomes your Word — wages will no longer dictate your present or future. At that point, the spirit of poverty is broken, and you begin to walk in the abundance God has already prepared for you.

God has revealed nine covenant names to His people, and as born-again believers, we are spiritually His people. One of those names is Jehovah Shalom, a God of wholeness, peace, and abundance.

When you are baptized (by full immersion in water) in the name of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit, you step fully into kingdom citizenship. From that place, you no longer live under poverty — you live under divine abundance, fulfillment, and purpose, both now and for the future.

⚠️ ADMONITION

Do not live small because of temporary lack. Refuse to allow fear, systems, or income to define your worth or limit your vision. Write the vision, believe God, meditate on His Word, and align your life with kingdom principles. Obedience and faith will always lead you into abundance.

🙏 PRAYER

Father, thank You for Your Word that brings light and freedom.
I renounce every spirit of poverty operating in my life.
I receive the truth that You are my Provider and my Source.
Reprogram my mind with Your Word and align my steps with Your will.
I step out of lack and into the abundance You have prepared for me.
Let my present and future reflect Your glory and provision.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
