Ascending To Excellence Part One: The Price Of Redemption

FROM THE FULL REDEMPTIVE WORK OF CHRIST

📖 Introduction – Purpose of the Teaching Series

This teaching series is designed to help students understand the fullness of Christ’s redemptive work.

Many believers only see redemption as forgiveness of sins, but redemption goes beyond that—it includes restoration, healing, identity, and authority.

The goal is to build strong spiritual understanding so that believers can walk in the complete reality of what Christ has done.

The Principle of the First

In Scripture, the “first” carries significance.

Jesus is called the firstborn of all creation and the firstborn from the dead.

In the Old Testament, the firstborn carried a double portion of inheritance and authority.

This shows us that Jesus holds the legal authority to redeem mankind.

The Need for Redemption

Before any blessing could manifest, sin had to be dealt with.

Isaiah 53 reveals that Jesus bore our iniquities so we could be restored.

Forgiveness is the foundation upon which every other blessing stands.

Without redemption, there is no access to healing, restoration, or Kingdom benefits.

The Kinsman Redeemer

The story of Boaz and Ruth shows the concept of redemption.

A kinsman redeemer restores what was lost.

Jesus fulfilled this role by becoming human, paying the price for sin, and restoring our identity.

🙏 Admonition

Students of the School 🏫 of Excellence, Do not take redemption lightly.

Understand the price that was paid.

When you understand redemption, you will stop living like a slave and start walking in your true identity.

🙏 Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus,

Open our understanding to the depth of redemption.

Help us to value the sacrifice of Christ and walk in its fullness.

Let this truth transform our lives.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
