We do not reach this high position by our own effort — we enter it through the cross. Jesus died — we died to the old earthly order. He was buried — we were separated from the realm of sin and decay. He rose — we rose to new life. He ascended — we ascended with Him. His resurrection is the bridge that lifts us from “under the sun” into the realm of eternal life, authority and power.
